A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

My career began with eight years in the fashion industry. A wonderful experience but certainly not ‘healthy’. So I took the leap, left my beloved fashion job and enrolled to study a Bachelor in Health Science majoring in Naturopathy. At the same time I started managing a Sydney Pilates studio. It was during this time that I decided to take my 10 year love of Pilates to a new level and became an instructor through Polestar Pilates.

While I’ve always had a passion for health, it wasn’t until I became a mother that I truly realised the importance of investing in both my physical and mental health.

It also dawned on me that I had lost so many years of my life and wonderful memories to my disordered eating patterns. You see, I have experienced a negative relationship with food and my body since I was a teenager. After my father passed away I really realised that I was using food and exercise as a way to control what was going on in my life and a way to numb my emotions.

In order to heal my relationship with food so I could be present with my children I had to learn about my emotions, understand my physical body and find new ways of coping with stress and the curve balls that life throws you.

I longed for someone to hold space for me. Someone to help guide me as I reinvented my relationship with food and establish movement, eating and stress reduction patterns that served me better. So I have created that in my programs! It was something I longed for and I have now become myself!

I studied to become an accredited Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition so that I can help support women who have a similar story to mine but I also use my intuitive gifts and my ability to help women connect to their intuition to really get to the root cause.

My healing journey has become my dharma and I feel incredibly grateful that I am able to use those years of agony and pain to help others with their journey.

I am a strong believer that stress is one of the biggest issues that women face with their health so as well as my BODY CONNECTION Programs, I also offer holistic coaching.

Self care is one of my favourite things in the world and daily baths, meditations, crystals and time in nature are some of my non negotiable… When I’m not at the skate park with my young sons! Its all about balance isn’t it?

When I am meditating, moving my body with love and intention and nourishing myself intuitively my life flows, I am present and I feel a deep sense of joy!
